Four Seasons’ Los Cabos Costa Palmas’ Smoky & Spicy Cocktail

Four Seasons' Los Cabos at Costa Palmas' Smoky & Spicy Cocktail Recipe

I recently had the amazing pleasure of being indulged by the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas! This property is destined for greatness and will soon be on the top of everyone’s “Must Experience List”! This “soon to be”, jetset destination is a magical escape on the East Cape’s, Sea of Cortez. This is not the touristy, raucous Cabo you’re used too, this is Cabo re-imagined! If you want all the phenomenal plans and details on this new lux resort, be sure to click over to my post on Travel.Luxury for the sneak peek ( it won’t be finished until Nov. 2018).

One of my fave drinks at this resort is the Costa Palmas’ Smoky & Spicy. The combo of the smokey mezcal, pineapple and Ancho Reyes (one of the best Mexican liquors), makes a delicious, taste explosion combo! I begged for the recipe so I could take some Costa Palmas “Sabor!” home with me, and of course, to share with you 🙂

Four Season’s Los Cabos at Costa Palmas’ Smoky & Spicy

  •  2 oz. Mezcal infused with pineapple and thyme
  • 1 oz. Ancho Reyes Liquor
  • 1/2 oz. Lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. Agave syrup
  • Ginger Beer
  • 1 piece of crystalized sugared ginger for garnish

I bought a high end Mezcal and put big chunks of pineapple and thyme in the bottle (Leave it in for a week or two to infuse the flavors, then strain).

Mix the Mezcal with Ancho Reyes Liquor, lime juice, and agave syrup. Add in a splash of ginger beer. Garnish with crystalized sugared ginger. Chase with a whole lot of happiness! (or salsa dancing!)

Caveat- Tequila can cause injury (from falling of of tables), and pregnancy 🙂
